Liam Neeson is reportedly close to sealing a deal to star in Taken 3.

Deadline are reporting that the actor – who has previously dismissed the idea of a third outing in the franchise – will sign a $20million deal to return as Bryan Mills. The second film was critically mauled upon release, but it’s takings have obviously convinced Luc Besson and his EuropaCorp group to plot one more film.

The sequel took $374million on a $45million budget, while the first Taken film made $226million from a $25million budget.
