With Man of Steel already breaking records in it’s first weekend of release, talk has inevitably started on a sequel.
And while that appears to already be happening, that talk is now that Warner Bros. may use some of Superman’s speed to get that sequel out in cinemas.
The Wall Street Journal are reporting that the studio are pressing ahead with plans for a follow-up, and are expected to fast-track it for a release in 2014. Furthermore, they are also still working on plans for a Justice League ensemble film, which the report says could come out as soon as 2015.
While those who enjoyed Man of Steel, this will surely be good news, but there would have to be some concern that the first film took three years to get from start to release, yet Warner want to get a sequel out within a year or so.
