Disney announce revised movie schedule; Muppets sequel gets a new title

Walt Disney have announced some revisions to their upcoming movie schedule.

 

  • The Muppets… Again! has been given a new name, and will now be released as Muppets Most Wanted on March 21, 2014.
  • Planes – the sequel to Cars – has already been given a sequel itself, with Planes: Fire & Rescue, getting a 3D release on July 18, 2014.
  • Saving Mr Banks will have a one week earlier limited release on December 13 of this year, with the December 20 he wide remaining the same.
  • Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is now officially scheduled for October 10, 2014.
  • Tomorrowland – the film that Brad Bird reportedly declined Star Wars Episode VII to work on – comes forward one week to December 12, 2014.
  • Into the Woods is now set for December 25, 2014.
  • The Hundred-Foot Journey – produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey – will be with us on August 8, 2014.
