Apple products banned from sale in US

Apple have suffered a sales blow in the US, after a judge ruled that some of their older products cannot be sold.

Following a claim by Samsung that Apple copied their 3G technology, a judge has decreed that the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS, as well as the iPad 3G and iPad 2 3G, have been banned from sale, report AllThingsD.

The devices have to be removed from sale because the devices are assembled in China, and the court ruling is by the U.S. International Trade Commission in Washington, which affects imports of affected Apple products.

The company have been given 60 days to remove the products from sale, but not surprisingly they are appealing the decision.
