WWE publish WrestleMania 29 buyrate

WWE have released their latest Key Performance Indicators, and along with the usual information detailed within, it also contains the buyrate for WrestleMania 29.

The document, published on the WWE Corporate website, shows that as of April 30, the show did 1,048,000 buys. Now of course that is still a great number, over a million buys. However, with The Rock as WWE champion, plus the insane amount of promotion WWE put time, effort and a lot of money into, it must be classed as disappointing that they did not come close to the 1,217,000 buys generated by WrestleMania XXVIII the year before, and even the 1,059,000 number pulled for WrestleMania XXVII in 2011.
