Wolfenstein: The New Order – New Screenshots, Art and Story Details

Wolfenstein The New Order Header

Betesda’s obviously been receiving my dreams of more info for upcoming Nazi shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order, because I woke up this morning to find not just a fact sheet on the game but also a whole heap of screenshots and art shots too.

The fact sheet sent out today drops some knowledge bombs to reveal that you’ll be up against  oversized Nazi Robots, Hulking Super Soldiers and Elite Shock Troops. Action looks to be pretty heavy in the game as you will have the ability to weild ultra-advanced Nazi-tech, experience mountain-top car chases  and take control of giant War Machines.

You can read the games story details below:

Europe, 1960. The Nazis turned the tide of the war using a new kind of mysterious, advanced technology. Using unrelenting force and intimidation, they have brought even the most powerful of nations to their knees. The Nazi regime now rules the globe with an iron fist. Play as the one man who dares go up against the world’s most formidable military. You are B.J. Blazkowicz, the American war hero. You are the only man capable of rewriting history.

Now image the visuals aren’t exactly going blow your mind as they seem to be rendered CGI grabs but they look all shiny and crisp (the art work looks cool too). So check out the gallery below:

Well that’s enough to keep me going for now, expect a trailer coming soon.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is currently set for release in quarter 4 this year and has been confirmed for the XBox 360, PlayStation 3 PC and Next Generation Consoles. For more information then head on over to the official Wolfenstein site.
