No EA games coming to Wii U anytime soon

Electronic Arts have confirmed that they currently have no games in development for the Wii U.

Confirming the news to Kotaku, company spokesperson Jeff Brown was succinct and to the point.

“We have no games in development for the Wii U currently.”

For current Wii U owners, this must come as a shock. When the console was first launched, EA had FIFA 12, Mass Effect 3, Need for Speed Most Wanted and Madden lined up and ready to unleash. But now, no more than two years after it’s debut, the console has been left behind by EA. This year’s Madden, FIFA, NHL and Tiger Woods PGA Tour games will not feature on the Wii U.
