First inductee into 2014 WWE Hall of Fame confirmed?

The late William ‘Paul Bearer’ Moody will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year, according to a new report.

The Sun claim that WWE have confirmed to them that Moody will be inducted in 2014, the night before WrestleMania XXX. Moody passed away earlier this year, and many speculated that he would receive an induction into this year’s Hall. However, that did not happen and now it appears he will receive the deserved honour next year.

Talk has already started over who will induct Moody, with longtime associate The Undertaker the overwhelming favourite. Undertaker has never appeared at a Hall of Fam ceremony, as WWE have always maintained the aura of his on-screen persona by not having him break character publicly. However, if he was ever going to break from that tradition, it would surely be to induct his longtime friend.

WWE have yet to confirm the news on their official website.
