Durango out, Fusion in for Microsoft?

Speculation is growing that Microsoft will call their new next-generation console the Xbox Fusion.

The claims come following the discovery of Microsoft owning various domain names relating to Fusion, such as,,, and, among others.

Of course, that alone is no confirmation of Fusion being the new console name, though it must be noted that Microsoft do not own the domain for XboxDurango, though it is widely believed that Durango was only ever a codename for the console, and never was meant to be the final identity. Though more recently another name has been rumoured, that being ‘Infinity’, after an image posted on Reddit was claimed to be a leaked logo from Microsoft;

Fusible also report that domain investor Andy Booth believes that Microsoft will opt for Fusion for the new console name, based on the amount of domains that the company own featuring that title, as well as the fact that the Infinity logo can also be interpreted as ‘Fusion’

Of course, we only have 17 days to go until speculation is over and Microsoft make the big Xbox reveal.
