Today PlayStation 3 and Windows PC players of Call of Duty Black: Ops II will catch up to their XBox 360 counterparts and have access to the game’s Uprising DLC. CoDBlOps2U (I will only stop when Activision stop adding names to the same title) includes the Mob of the Dead mode, which stars Ray Liotta (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Goodfellas), Chazz Pantolino (The Usual Suspects, Modern Family), Michael Madsen (Dishonored, Reservoir Dogs) & Joe Pantoliano (Grand Theft Auto III, The Matrix), who play four Prohibition-Era Mobsters battling the Undead and trapped prison guards on Alcatraz, the World’s Most Inescapable Prison.
Also included in the Uprising pack are four new diverse multiplayer maps, each of which are set around the globe:
- Magma – Set within a modern Japanese village, volcanic eruptions carve multiple paths throughout the town.
- Encore – Taking place in the aftermath of a deserted London music festival, Encore leaves numerous opportunities for run-and-gun, close quarters combat.
- Vertigo – A futuristic high-rise mega-structure located in India featuring dizzying vistas and multi-tiered pathways.
- Studio – A contemporary re-imagining of “Firing Range,” the fan-favourite multiplayer map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. “Studio” is a Hollywood movie back lot with a variety of cinematic themes that range from Sci-Fi to the Old West.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising is available now for £11.59 through the PlayStation Network Store and £11.49 for PC.
