ASDA reduces Wii U price even further

It is now getting even easier to pick up a Wii U in the UK, after supermarket chain ASDA reduced the price of the console by a further £50.

Following a similar price reduction almost two months ago, the chain now have the 8GB White basic console for just £149.99, while the 32GB Black premium console is available for £199.99. Though as of this writing, the Black premium console is currently marked as out of stock.

It is almost impossible to believe that the units launched only in December at £249 and £299 respectively.

Recent financial reports released by Nintendo showed that only 390,000 Wii U console have been sold since Christmas, which brings the total consoles sold up to nearly 3.5 million.
