Rayman Legends Challenges app now available for Wii U

Ubisoft have today announced that the Rayman Legends Challenges app is available on the Nintendo e-Shop.

Originally announced back in February, as a way of apology following the delay of Legends and it’s change from Wii U exclusive to wider platform availability, the demo will have updated Daily and Weekly Challenges and let users compete online with their friends and players from all around the world.

The Online Challenges Mode includes:

  • A crazy run through the Land of the Livid Dead,
  • Dizzying descent into the Neverending Pit,
  • A fast and frantic sprint through the Infinite Tower,
  • A synchronized adventure through Murfy’s Dungeon, a challenge dedicated to the Wii U GamePad where one player controls as Murfy on the touch screen while another controls one of the classic characters such as Rayman.

Additionally, the demo will also allow players to discover and improve on their Awesomeness Level, which can be increased by winning cups at the end of challenges and levels. You will get more points the bigger the cup you win. Similar to an experience level, players will increase their Awesomeness Level in order to unlock the Daily and Weekly Extreme Challenges.

Rayman Legends will be available on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and Wii U on August 30.
