Adam Orth, who caused controversy last week with his comments on the ‘always on’ rumour surrounding the new Xbox, has departed Microsoft.
The creative director has left the company, according to two sources close to Polygon.
Microsoft have declined to comment on the report, with a spokesperson stating that they “do not comment on private personnel matters”.
Orth tweeted last week that he “doesn’t understand the drama surrounding an ‘always-on’ console, and that people need to “#dealwithit”.
Microsoft later apologised for the comment.
