Development of Star Wars 1313 is reportedly on hold.
After a successful showing at E3 2012, not too much has been seen or heard of the project, and it seems this is because of Disney’s buyout of LucasArts.
When the buyout took place, it was said that it would not affect development of the game, however according to Kotaku, their sources say that ”the focus is on the new trilogy, not on material that is unrelated to the planned JJ Abrams-directed Star Wars: Episode VII“.
However, the game’s delay could actually work out in the long-run, as originally it was planned for current generation consoles. But with this delay – as well as the game’s apparent excellent graphics – it may well be worth the wait for it to appear on next-generation consoles instead.
