Ready for The Avengers and co. to Assemble on stage?

Your favourite superheroes are making their way to a stage (possibly) near you!

Marvel have agreed a deal with Feld Entertainment – who have been handling the Disney on Ice shows for year – for a series to stage shows featuring all the comic heroes we know and love. Following the success of Batman Live in 2011 – which we at the Palace can confirm first-hand was a top-class production – Marvel are wanting to put on their own series of shows full of stunts and special effects, and are apparently spending $10 million to make it a reality. The shows will initially be across an 85-city tour of North America in 2014, before heading for performances overseas.

And the best thing? As it is a stage show, and no movies are involved, we will actually get all Marvel heroes in the same place at the same time. That means crossovers with Spider-Man, the X-Men and The Avengers.

Excelsior!
