New Metal Gear Rising Revengance DLC Details

A new trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengance has been released in Japan to advertise next weeks DLC release.

The trailer shows off footage to some of the 30 new VR Training missions that’ll be made available along with a new weapon. Hebi Damashii is the name of the new weapon you’ll get to wield as Raiden (or Grey Fox if you’ve downloaded the costume DLC), which has two distinct features. First thing that’ll stick out about the sword is that it’s made of wood that’ll allow you to complete the game without killing any of the enemy cyborgs along your way, but perhaps the biggest feature is that the weapon will talk to you in a very familiar sounding voice. Periodically through your battles the voice of Solid/Old Snake will give his commentary of how he thinks you’re doing. Obviously this is via a Japanese trailer, so as yet their is no confirmation that David Hayder will reprise his role of Snake or not (though I think its a safe bet we’ll hear his raspy tones).

Here’s the Trailer;

DLC will be free to Download for MGR: Revengeance players until the 3rd April.
