New Action Packed Deadpool Trailer

Aww come on Dark Moon Studios, bring out Deadpool all ready!

Ever since the announcement that the Merc with the Mouth was getting a video game of his very own, we’ve all been pretty excited around here. Then that trailer hit and it was simply nerd-gassem inducing comic porn, ever since then I’ve been a bit antsy to get my hands on this thing.

Well as if the first trailer didn’t make me salivate enough, then look above for another.

Nolan North reprises the role of Deadpool (originally in Hulk Vs Wolverine and then again in Marvel Vs Capcom: Fate of two Worlds), making sure to keep many of the characters traits like breaking the fourth wall and making “BANG, BANG” noises when firing his guns.

The game seems to be a generic hack and slash style of game (which may not be everyone’s cup of tea) but if you take a look at the more recent titles of DMC: Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, it could be great if done correctly.

I’m expecting Deadpool to come under scrutiny for objectification of women on its road to release and usually I would agree, my argument however is simply this… its Deadpool and its not Ryan Reynolds, for than this game gets a pass.

Deadpool will be due for release at some point this Summer for XBox 360 and PlayStation 3.
