iOS App sneaks a GBA Emulator past Apple

Not for the first time a massive piece of copyright infringement has gotten past Apples App store verification and yet again it effects Nintendo.

Yesterday an App called Awesome Baby Names was released to the market and on first appearance looked to be a simple novelty application for picking baby names. However, after tapping on a few names the look of the display completely changes to that of a Nintendo Gameboy Advance emulator.

The App came with ha number of playable ROMs and cost £1.49 ($1.99).

Predictably, as soon as Apple found out what was going on they pulled the Awesome Baby Names for the App store and have most probably swung their ban hammer at those responsible.
