EA deny Dead Space 4 cancellation

EA have today denied a report that claimed Dead Space 4 has been cancelled.

We reported earlier that VideoGamer alleged that the game had been axed during pre-production, due to poor sales of Dead Space 3. But EA, in a statement given to IGN, say this is “flat-out not true,” as well as denying the other claim that Visceral Montreal has been closed.

The press release sent to IGN states;

“While we have not announced sales for Dead Space 3, we are proud of the game and the franchise remains an important IP to EA.”
