Could Beyond: Two Souls come to other Sony consoles?

Guillaume de Fondaumière,the COO of Quantanic Dream has been hinted that the upcoming PlayStation 3 title Beyond: Two Souls could appear on the consoles successor.

In an interview with EuroGamer, Fondaumière had been asked if Beyond: Two Souls would be multi-platform to which he said “It’s for PlayStation 3.” Though when probed a little bit more on the subject of the title coming only to PS3  he said “so far, yes“.

It’s doubtful that the Vita could handle Two Souls (unless it was a scaled down version of the game), but perhaps we could see a second release on the upcoming PlayStation 4, either in full release or cloud gaming rentals?

More interestingly though was the revelation that Quantanic Dream are already in the process of working on a new title for the next-generation console;

“For us, a new console is another reason to try and innovate. What is certain is that whatever we’re working on on PS4 is not going to resemble what we’re doing on PS3… We’re going to try and reinvent ourselves.”

When speaking about developing for the PS4, Guillaume said it was;

“Incomparable. Very easy.”

He added;

“We’ll be able to express ourselves in a more straightforward way. So it’s perfect, it’s excellent.”

Beyond: Two Souls is due for release at sometime in October, which is suspiciously close to the expected release date of the PlayStation 4. It is currently confirmed for the PS3 and stars Hollywood Actors Elaine Page and Willem Dafoe.
