Capcom announce Duck Tales Remastered

Capcom have revealed that Duck Tales Remastered is in development.

Announcing the news during the “World of Capcom” panel at PAX East 2013, Capcom revealed that the game development of the game is being handled by WayForward Technologies, and that the in-game character sprites are hand-drawn, while the world will exist in 3D. Furthermore, Disney’s authentic voice actors will appear in the game. The game’s original 8-bit songs from the original game will still be present, having been remastered by Jake Kaufman over at WayForward. New features in the game include a tutorial, a museum, and Scrooge’s Money Bin, which you can jump into and explore.

A reveal trailer for the game has also been released, complete with the Duck Tales theme tune and lyrics so you can sing along. And I guarantee you will.

Duck Tales Remastered will be available this summer, costing $14.99 on PlayStation Network, 1200 Microsoft Points on XBLA, and $15 on the Wii U eShop.
