Randy Orton teasing WrestleMania match with Undertaker?

As we reported earlier, The Undertaker made a surprise return at a live event in Waco, Texas. And one of the superstars on hand at the show was Randy Orton, who tweeted on the Dead Man’s return.

Now, this seems like a fairly innocuous tweet, however….

Rumours have been flying for months that Undertaker is all set to face CM Punk at WrestleMania 29 on April 7, but in recent weeks the talk has been that Punk will be inserted into the Rock-Cena WWE Title feud to make it a triple threat match. That would free up Undertaker for something/someone else. And Orton doesn’t currently have anything concrete lined up heading into WrestleMania season. It’s been a while since Orton’s Legend Killer persona was referenced, and while Orton was unsuccessful against Undertaker at WrestleMania 21, could we see him take one more crack at the streak 8 years on?

  1. It would certainly make sense, as much as I Love to see Taker Vs. Punk Orton needs a boost way more that Punk.
CM Punk is top of the world right now and Randy hasn’t been relevant since Legacy, even putting the WWE and World Champion belts on him managed to bring him back up.
Randy Orton needs a heel turn and a high profile match quick, he’s at his best as a heel.
