Bond surpasses Batman

Skyfall has now officially passed The Dark Knight Rises at the worldwide box office.

The latest entry in the Bond franchise is now the seventh highest-grossing movie of all-time, and the most successful Bond film to date.

According to a report on SuperHeroHype, Skyfall has reached $1.094 billion, just past The Dark Knight Rises‘ $1.081 billion.

The list of biggest grossing films of all-time is as follows;

*Avatar ($2.782 billion)
*Titanic ($2.185 billion)
*The Avengers ($1.511 billion)
*Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 ($1.328 billion)
*Transformers: Dark of the Moon ($1.123 billion)
*The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ($1.119 billion)
*Skyfall ($1.094 billion)
*The Dark Knight Rises ($1.081 billion)
