Apple are rumoured to be developing a smart watch.
A report in the New York Times claims that Apple are “experimenting” with a wristwatch device powered by iOS. Their sources say that testing is underway on a devices that feature curved glass designs, a distinctive feature that Apple believes will set its smartwatch products apart from others.
Back in 2010, Apple accidentally came into the wristwatch genre when they released the 6th generation iPod Nano, which has a small, square design. It’s release led to third-party accessory manufacturers developing watch straps and wristbands for. Last year, when Apple refreshed the Nano range, altering the design into a more rectangular design, which ended the development of straps and wristbands. And now it seems Apple are looking at cornering that same market.
The Daily Mail have published photos from designers who have speculated what a possible iWatch would look like.
