Apple CEO admits company are focusing on “long term” and “new categories”

Apple CEO Tim Cook has been speaking today about Apple’s stock prices, as well as the company’s future.

At a shareholder’s meeting, Cook admitted his displeasure at Apple’s recent stock issues.

“I don’t like it either. Neither does the board or management — where the stock trades now versus a few months ago — but we’re focused on the long term.”

“We are in markets that are fast growing … Obviously we’re looking at new categories — we don’t talk about them, but we’re looking at them,”

“It’s been an incredible year of innovation at Apple.”

When Cook talks about “new categories”, it immediately leads one to speculate that he could well be talking about the much-hyped iWatch the company are reported to be working on.
