Star Drek into Darknes Klingon reveal banner

J.J Abrams, the only man to be tasked with both Star Trek and Star Wars has spoken about the upcoming Trek squeal Into Darkness in an interview with MTVDuring the Interview, Abrams gave out some pretty hefty information about the film’s story line, in particular Carol Marcus and the warrior race, the Klingons.

Regarding the Klingons, Abrams has said “Their role in this is definitely that of adversary,” says Abrams, “and you’ll see how they play out.

He want on to talk about the relationship with Carol Marcus and Captain James T Kirk;

“[He] meets her fairly early on and again she plays a science officer, someone who is part of the adventure,” says the director. “It’s very much an action-adventure movie and once that gets going it’s a very difficult thing to park the story. So it’s very difficult to do a romantic interlude. Her role is important — she wouldn’t be in the movie otherwise.”
