Two major stars ink new WWE deals

Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho have signed new deals with WWE.

PWInsider are reporting that Lesnar has agreed a 2-year extension to his current deal, which was due to run out after WrestleMania 29. He is now locked in until WrestleMania 31. I wonder if this changes the outcome of his rumoured Mania 29 bout with Triple H. And I also wouldn’t bet against another WWE Championship reign as well. It is as yet unknown how many dates Lesnar will work as part of the new deal.

Another wrestler to put pen to paper is Chris Jericho, who made a surprise return last night in the Royal Rumble match and put in a hell of a performance. PWInsider are reporting that Jericho has signed a short-term deal to work through WrestleMania 29.
