The Rock Delivers Big For WWE

The ratings are in for Raw, and there will be a lot of smiles in WWE offices right about now.

Monday’s episode was watched by 4,420,000 viewers, a staggering increase of 900,000 viewers compared to last week’s show. And even though there was a promoted WWE Championship TLC match booked for the show, I think it’s pretty clear that The Rock’s return after six months was the reason for the increase. This is the highest number Raw rating WWE have pulled since July 23 2012, which of course was Raw 1000, ironically The Rock’s last WWE appearance.

If this holds going forward, WWE are going to have very happy weekly ratings reports heading into WrestleMania.
