OUYA UK price and release date revealed?

OUYA will be released in the UK in March, according to reports.

Pocket-Lint are reporting that the console s due to be released in April, though they understand that the company has enough stock that will be able to start shipping consoles a month earlier than that. OUYA’s official website currently has the consoles available for $109.99 (£70.34), though it is expected to be £99 on launch.

OUYA is an Android-based console that is designed to be plugged into the user’s TV set, enabling them to play Android games, use apps and play games specifically designed for the device. It will be powered by a Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 1GB of ram. It will also support the OnLive cloud gaming service at launch, as well as come with Final Fantasy III and the prequel to Robotoki’s Human Element.
