iPhone 5 not in demand?

Apple are reported to have cut an iPhone 5 manufacturing order in half due to low demand.

A report in The Wall Street Journal claims that their sources have told them that “weaker-than-expected demand” caused Apple to halve their manufacturing order of their latest handset.

Of course, this occurrence may be down to other reasons, namely the rumoured testing of the iPhone 6. It is possible that Apple want production of the fifth iteration of their flagship product reduced to make way for the updated smartphone.
