Apple senior exec rules out cheap iPhone

Apple have ruled out releasing a budget iPhone.

Two days ago, we reported on the speculation that the technology giant were working on a cheaper iPhone, but comments made to the Shanghai Evening News by Apple senior executive Phil Schiller seem to rule that out.

“Despite the popularity of cheap smartphones, this will never be the future of Apple’s products. Every product that Apple creates, we consider using only the best technology available.”

So it seems that Apple will be sticking to it’s policy of offering premium products at premium prices.
